I don't generally spend money on books, but #1 was so good I paid for #2. Then #2 was so good I paid for #3. The story is starting to drag a bit, even though out is packed full of interesting characters. There is so much going on it seems like a soap opera, as soon as one problem is solved, another starts. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but the characters never get to really rest, or have some fun.The only annoying parts of the book are that the characters jump to anger over tiny things ( Lia punches a hole in the wall because someone said her boobs are big, then takes off in a tantrum?), and another part where Grandion tries to attack a soldier for a snide comment in a volatile situation that requires diplomacy ( like he has no self control?) Then there is the whole "proverbial" thing, people don't say "they let the proverbial cat out of the bag," they just say "they let the cat out of the bag." Those little annoyances don't effect the epic story happening here, so I recommend these books to anyone who loves a good story, and loves dragons.

Dragonsoul Dragonfriend Book 3 edition by Marc Secchia Joemel Requeza Children eBooks Reviews
Where do I begin? The book continues the story and what a story.....it keeps getting better and better......can't wait to continue to find out how it all will end and yet it is one of those stories that you don't want to end. Thanks again!
Shape-shifter stories are a dime a dozen, but Marc Secchia came up with a truly divine little Dragon/Girl shifter in love with a big old Dragon in this action/philosophical/love series. We don't actually know she's a shifter at first, but all her friends help her to grow and learn and blossom into the beautiful, wonderful and fantastical Dragon Soul!
Wonderful story about a human girls and a dragon. Hualiama had grown up in a society that had no trust for dragons but had always wanted to be one. Grandion had grown up in a society that viewed humans as "less than". It would take much to bring them together but so much more to tear them apart. Amazing writing by Marc Secchia. Can't wait to read #4!
The characters are wonderful, the duality is splendidly played. The tragedies, well, yeah, my friend and I both cried. We truly laughed out loud as well. I dragged out the last book of the series as long as possible. I didn’t see how it could end; and I didn’t want it to stop at all!
Having read books 1 and 2, i purchased book 3. And was somewhat disappointed. It was extremely "wordy" reminding me of a college text that I had to read rather than want to read.I also find it puzzling that a new character with a new set of circumstances and emotions show up after 70% of the book has been read. I guess there is a book 4 in the works? If you don't mind skimming some of the long-winded parts it is a good book.
This series is amazing, and this particular book does not disappoint. Life-harrowing Adventure, love, species mutation, not one but Three sets of parents to contend with (including an immortal pair), an impossible love, betrayal and redemption... it's all inside these pages. Start at the beginning with Dragonfriend Book 1. You will be glad you did! Appropriate reading for all ages. Bonus includes vocabulary stretching words.
I chose five stars because this book deserves five. These books are long, can't be read in a day believe me but they are good. Full of details. Marc brings every detail out and explores it to the max. The characters are great, the battles between good and evil, I had to make myself not go to the end to find out how it ended. If you love dragons then choose to read this series.
