He want to date her but Jack believes that every time she brings a date to a wedding, terrible things and accidents happen. She believes it's a curse. I felt bad for Leo because he liked Jack so much and wasn't afraid to admit that. They do sleep together in this book and it's both their first time but it's not detailed.

This is a Wonderful story! Well written and quirky. I love how all of this family's children have names of cities where their parents have traveled too.

This book basically is about a family of 7 girls, who are stuck in wedding madness. The 2 or 3 sisters are already married, the story begins around wedding number 3 or 4 for this family and centers on the view of the youngest (17 year old) Jakarta or Jack, as she likes to be called.

The drama unfolds as 2 sister's fight to plan their wedding at the same time. Oh, and just wait til you find out about the wedding curse.

Definitely a must read!
Jakarta (also known as "Jack") is determined never to fall in love or get married. She's seen her five sisters deal with boys and doesn't think they are worth the hassle. Plus, she's doomed by the "wedding curse" her dates at her sisters' weddings have turned out disastrous.

Two of her sisters are planning summer weddings and she's involved but sticking to her vow to not get herself into a relationship.

Then she meets Leo. He is the wedding planner's son, so he and Jack are thrown together in the wedding preparations. Leo isn't like the other guys. He wants to get to know Jack and believes he can break the "wedding curse." Yet Jack keeps herself busy with her sisters' plans to keep her mind off Leo. It's not that easy, though, as Leo manages to appear everywhere!

This is fun novel about falling in love, wedding chaos, and just making time for what's important. I enjoyed getting to know Jack as well as her sisters. Part of the appeal in this novel is not only wondering what's going to happen with Jack and Leo but also about her sisters and their relationships.

Our mom let me purchase this book and others like it and they were great! This book was wonderful. I loved the humor and sarcasm of the writing. It was a great plot and was somewhat realistic. This was a great book! They are also easy reads.
This was the first time I have read any books by this author. I throughly enjoyed the book, even if it is for a younger generation!!! Sweet, fun, great laughs, beautiful surroundings and definite quick read!!!
